About Us
Who We Are
We are a group of Christians who strive to do the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, whom we read about in the Bible, God’s inspired Word. We share a common faith and salvation (Jude 1:3). We work together in order to accomplish God’s Will—in this area—and to carry our His command to come together as the church. For the history of the congregation, click HERE.
Church Mission
- To seek the lost
- To grow together
- To fulfill needs
The mission of the church is based on God’s Word, including these Bible verses:
18 Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Matthew 28:18-20
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
Mark 16:15-16
We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you towards one another abounds;
2 Thessalonians 1:3
The second is like this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Mark 12:31
Sell that which you have, and give gifts to the needy. Make for yourselves purses which don’t grow old, a treasure in the heavens that doesn’t fail, where no thief approaches, neither moth destroys.
Luke 12:33

How to Become a Christian
According to the Bible, the way to become a Christian and be saved is to:
1. Hear the Word of God
So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.–Romans 10:17
2. Believe
Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.–Hebrews 11:6
3. Repent of your sins
The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent.–Acts 17:30
4. Confess your belief that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God
Everyone therefore who confesses me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.–Matthew 10:32
5. Be baptized for the forgiveness of sins
Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.–Acts 2:38
6. Live a faithful Christian life
Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.–Revelation 2:10
